Jeff Sainsbury
Born in 1957, Jeff worked in banking and insurance before returning to full time education and earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in politics and history.  He also studied at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and Mississippi State University, where he taught while studying for a doctorate.  While at LSU, he met and married Ginny.  After five years of living in the US, they returned to England to establish Jeff Sainsbury Tours.  They  have two young sons and are currently restoring a 18th-century farmhouse and creating a garden in rural South West France, where they now live.

Ginny Fletcher
After gaining her first degree in landscape architecture and working in London, Ginny was awarded a scholarship to do a master's degree in landscape architecture at LSU.  Upon graduating she taught landscape architecture at Mississippi State University, before returning with Jeff to England where she set up her own garden design company.  Since relocating to France, she has assumed a more hands on role in Jeff Sainsbury Tours, while trying to find time to develop the two acres surrounding the family home.

Thanks so much for all your effort in providing us with so many interesting places and gardens to visit.... and nice accommodations, too. We have been on six Jeff Sainsbury Tours and each seems to be better than the last. It never ceases to amaze us how Jeff finds neat, out of the way places for us to enjoy.
